CITY OF KING: Senior Tar Heel Athletic Cards are No Longer Being Issued by Local Senior Centers

City of King issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.

Senior Tar Heel Athletic Cards are no longer being issued by local senior centers.

The Division of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) is accepting requests via email or phone.  The cards are being "rebranded" and going forward, new cards will be numbered.

The cards are intended to allow older adults admittance into NC High School Athletic Association games at no cost.

Currently, cards will be sent to those making a request.  If you currently have a card, please contact the high school hosting the sporting event and ask them if they are still accepting the older cards.

To request a new one, contact Tiffany McDougald at (919) 855-3402 or email Tiffany.McDougald@dhhs.nc.gov

or Arlisa Ashe at (919) 855-3428 or email Arlisa.Ashe@dhhs.nc.gov

Need help or still have questions?  Call the King Senior Center at 336-983-0751.
