City of Eden recently issued the following announcement.
The proposed budget for the 2020-2021 fiscal year for the City of Eden has been submitted to the City Council. A copy is available for inspection in the City Clerk’s Office during regular office hours at City Hall, 308 East Stadium Drive, and online via the City’s website here. The proposed budget provides an ad valorem tax rate of $0.609 per one hundred dollars valuation.
A public hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at 308 East Stadium Drive on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 6 p.m. for the purpose of allowing citizens the opportunity to submit comments.
Comments may be made three ways: in person at the June 16 meeting (following social distancing and capacity restrictions); emailed to the City Clerk dhunt@edennc.us by 5 p.m. June 16; or by phone to the City Clerk at 336-623-2110, option 8, by 5 p.m. June 16. Comments submitted by email or phone will be read at the meeting.
