City of Eden issued the following announcement on April 20.
In order to maintain the safety of City residents, staff and the Council, the City Council meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 will be conducted electronically. The City is making every effort to ensure that the public is able to not only listen to the meeting, but also to participate in the public comments portion of the meeting, while still maintaining statutory requirements and keeping the public safe.
The agenda for this meeting is available on the City website.
Comments may be made during two items of business on the agenda:
- Requests and Petitions of Citizens
- Public Hearings
Speakers must sign up in advance by 4 p.m. Tuesday April 21. Please contact City Clerk Deanna Hunt at 336-623-2110, option 8, or dhunt@edennc.us to be included as a speaker.
