On Saturday, May 10, former West Stokes High School standout Kaylee Hobgood’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, lost 7-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Francis Marion Patriots.
The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Patriots this season.
It was the last Wingate Bulldogs’ game this season
During the week beginning Monday, Sept. 1, these former North Central North Carolina area high school athletes will be in action.
These former North Central North Carolina area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Aug. 25.
State Sen. Dana Jones, sponsor of a bill enhancing protections for education savings and ABLE accounts, saw the measure pass both the North Carolina House and Senate.
