On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former West Stokes High School standout Dawson Neal’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Old Dominion Monarchs.

The game took place at Clark–LeClair Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Monarchs this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against Kent State Golden Flashes.
