Walnut Cove Public Library issued the following announcement on Mar. 1.

Stokes County is working hard to expand broadband to citizens, and we are collecting data on unserved and underserved areas in the county.
The map below is what the state has on record for areas not being served with broadband. All of the green areas are what internet providers have submitted to the state as being served. The Broadband Committee believes that there are many more unserved and underserved areas than reported. PLEASE take the below survey to help us gather more factual information:
