Village of Tobaccoville issued the following announcement on Nov. 24. 

The Village of Tobaccoville Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled for Monday, November 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Village Park. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m.  The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place outside at the Gazebo.   Pastor Forrest Ritchey from Gospel Mission Baptist Church will provide a Christmas message and holiday music will be provided by the Old Richmond Evangelical Methodist Church Choir.  Other planned activities include a reading of “The Night Before Christmas” and a visit from Santa. Please plan to join us for this occasion.  Should there be inclement weather, the event will be cancelled and notice will be provided in advance of the event.
