On Tuesday, March 18, former Rockingham County High School standout Rachel Smith’s current college team, the Radford Highlanders, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Charlotte 49ers.

The game took place at Radford Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 4 p.m. at UNCG Softball Stadium against UNC Greensboro Spartans.
