City of Winston-Salem issued the following announcement on Nov. 27.
It’s “Muni Monday!” Each month the city will post an interesting or little-known city ordinance.
This series is intended to enlighten and on occasion bring a little humor into your Monday.
Today’s highlighted ordinance is regarding trees on the city right-of-way.
If you have a dead or diseased tree in the right-of-way and adjacent to your property,
the city will remove it (only the city is allowed to remove it) and replace it.
