Rockingham County Schools issued the following announcement on June 23.
At last week’s RCS Board of Education meeting, Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Support Services Dr. Cindy Corcoran made a presentation highlighting the scholarships earned by Rockingham County Schools seniors in the Class of 2022. The district earned a total of $16,590,241 in scholarships and awards, including Reidsville High School ($6,692,340, 141 graduates), McMichael High School ($3,158,444, 150 graduates), Rockingham County High School ($3,088,972, 206 graduates), Morehead High School ($2,022,614, 160 graduates), and Rockingham Early College High School ($1,627,871, 56 graduates). Since 2007, RCS graduates have earned over $251 million in scholarships and awards! Congratulations to all RCS scholarship/award recipients!
