ROCKINGHAM COUNTY SCHOOLS: Request for Proposals for School Based Mental Health

County Schools issued the following announcement on June 10.

Rockingham County Schools is seeking proposals from mental health provider agencies to provide school-based mental health services to elementary and middle school students (K-8) in Rockingham County Schools continuing in the 2022-2023 school year. 

 Utilizing a qualification-based selection process, Rockingham County Schools intends to Place providers who meet criteria described in this RFP on a list of providers, from which parents may choose. 

If selected by a particular school or parent, the provider will then be awarded a memorandum of understanding. RCS does not guarantee that providers who are placed on the list will be chosen or will be awarded contracts to provide services.

 This list will be available to students and parents for the 2022-2023 school year, and subsequent school years as deemed appropriate by RCS.  Proposal deadline has been extended until June 30, 2022.
