Stokes County Fire & Rescue Association issued the following announcement on Mar. 9.
Double Creek, South Stokes, Northeast Stokes, Danbury, and Walnut Cove Fire Departments received their lowered insurance ratings this afternoon from North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey. On behalf of the Stokes County Fire and Rescue Association Congratulations! I am extremely proud of the hard work that has been put into this accomplishment by each department. The citizens in these fire districts should be looking for lower home owners insurance premiums after 05/01/2022.
