The UNC School of Education’s two-year, hyflex MSA program is an intensive, competency-based leadership preparation program that equips educators with the skills and dispositions to lead for equity and excellence. We seek equity-oriented, learning-focused candidates interested in leading preK-12 schools.
The program features engaging instruction and coaching from a diverse faculty with practical school and district leadership expertise. And our cohort model fosters strong reciprocal learning interactions among students.
The program’s hyflex learning environment accommodates both virtual and in-person learning preferences. Year one includes coursework structured to accommodate full-time teachers and school-based personnel. Year two includes a full-time internship with a mentor principal in their district and a seminar designed to integrate internship experiences with core leadership competencies.
