Rockingham County Schools issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
On Tuesday, January 25, College Foundation of North Carolina is hosting a “Accessibility in College” forum. This session will highlight an expert panel on accessibility in college, as students with DIVERSEabilities transition out of high school and into a college setting. The panel will include representatives from N.C. Community Colleges, four-year public and private institutions, and the Center for Exceptional Children. Topics will include connecting with Accessibility Services in college, IEPs translating once in college, student groups on campus, and resources available from CFNC.
