Rockingham County Schools issued the following announcement on Jul. 31.
An Apprentice Signing ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. the evening of Wednesday, August 11 for the newest round of RCS students taking part in the RockATOP program, which assists students with training, as well as finding jobs and apprentice programs with local businesses. This is an outstanding opportunity for young men and women in Rockingham County to get essential and much-desired job skills and set themselves up for good-paying local jobs without any college debt.
