The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) said that non-profit and for-profit organizations can apply for approximately $1 million in Federal HOME Program grants.
Project proposals can be for any properties within Stokes county, as well as Davie, Surry, and Yadkin counties, information on the Surry County website said. Funds can be used for projects that include creating new housing units, renovating existing complexes, or converting buildings into residential properties. Proposals may be submitted online, and the deadline for submissions is on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 11:59 p.m.
