Stokes County Health Department issued the following announcement on June 7.

It’s hot! Warmer summer weather brings with it increased danger of heat-related injuries or even death for children left in parked cars. In just 10 minutes, temperatures inside your car can rise 20 degrees! Never leave a child alone in a car.
