The final end of the budget is said to help the economic landscape of Burke County, North Carolina. Officials are said to announce $35.8 million.

Today NC House Speaker Tim Moore visited the Great Meadows Megasite in Burke County, North Carolina to announce a $35 Million economic development investment for the area.

On October 9th, Burke County and State Officials came together to announce the plan, according to McDowell News. The budget falls into Burke Development Inc. (BDI) for business circumstances. It will be participated in both Burke and McDowell counties. North Carolina Speaker Tim Moore was a participant during the announcement.

The megasite is told to be in total of 1,343 acres, from Statesville. About 200 of these acres are in McDowell County, while the other 1,143 fall into Burke County. They are located off of Interstate 40 and Exit 94. President and CEO of BDI declared 12.3 million is headed towards the water and sewer side and 23.5 million is to go towards the land and development.

North Carolina House Speaker, Tim Moore also was apart of another budget for Rutherford County. He mentions in his Press Release on his Government site that he is pleased to share about his collaboration and he is proud of the funding. He is aiming to make multiple counties in North Carolina a fundamental living environment through these budgets.
