On Saturday, May 10, former South Stokes High School standout Madison Wilson’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.
The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Nighthawks this season.
It was the last Lenoir-Rhyne Bears’ game this season
During the week beginning Monday, Sept. 1, these former North Central North Carolina area high school athletes will be in action.
These former North Central North Carolina area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Aug. 25.
State Sen. Dana Jones sponsored a bill revising North Carolina’s Underground Utility Safety and Damage Prevention Act, which passed both the House and Senate.
