On Saturday, April 19, former Rockingham County High School standout Rachel Smith’s current college team, the Radford Highlanders, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Winthrop Eagles.

The game took place at Radford Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 3 p.m. at Dot Hicks Field against Marshall Thundering Herd.
