Richmond County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 20.

The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome back for the 2nd annual women’s conference and networking event.

Presenting Sponsors for this event includes the City of Rockingham and Richmond County Tourism Development Authority.

At our inaugural event last year, we hosted 50 women to enjoy a day of informative presentations! This year, this event will be GREATER with PHENOMENAL speakers and presenters!

Sessions begin at 9am and last until 2p.

Breakfast, sponsored by Tropical Smoothie Cafe of Rockingham will be provided and a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Lunch sponsored by REV Federal Credit Union.

We are grateful to have Rockingham native and Dean of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s Graduate School, Dr. Irene Pittman, as our Keynote Speaker.
