On Sunday, March 9, former Rockingham County High School standout Rachel Smith’s current college team, the Radford Highlanders, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Fordham Rams.

The game took place at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park. This was their second matchup against the Rams this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park against James Madison Dukes.
