On Saturday, March 22, former South Stokes High School standout Sydney Patterson’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tusculum Pioneers.

The game took place at Red Edmonds Field. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at King Softball Field against King Tornado.
