On Friday, March 7, former West Stokes High School standout Dawson Neal’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 7-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.

The game took place at Clark–LeClair Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chanticleers this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
