On Saturday, March 15, former West Stokes High School standout Jacob Smith’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mount Olive Trojans.

The game took place at Sammy Cox Field. This was their third matchup against the Trojans this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium against Wingate Bulldogs.
