FOIA Request to Stokes County Election Department Regarding Pre-Election Voting Machine Test Reports on October 30, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at NC North Carolina News have sent a request for records under the North Carolina Public Records Law, G.S. §132-1., to the Stokes County Election Department.

Our request pertains specifically to the pre-election test reports of voting machines used in the county’s elections. We have asked for these reports in PDF format and requested that they include specific fields such as the test date, machine manufacture, machine model number, and machine status (whether it passed or failed).
