On Saturday, March 1, former West Stokes High School standout Dawson Neal’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 13-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Indiana State Sycamores.

The game took place at Clark–LeClair Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Sycamores this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 3:30 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against Virginia Tech Hokies.
