City of Winston-Salem issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.

Second Harvest Food Bank is getting ready to open a new facility. 

If you work in, live in, or drive through the East Ward (i.e., all of us), East Ward Council Member Annette Scippio invites

 you to join in the ward’s Stock the Food Bank food drive this month.
