City of Rockingham Fire Department issued the following announcement on March 7.
Although we received several applications for employment, the RFD command staff has decided to extend the application deadline to ensure that we hire the most qualified candidate. One firefighter was hired out of the first wave of applications.
However, we are still seeking to fill (1) additional full-time Firefighter position. If you applied during the 1st wave there is no need to apply again. All others interested please see below:
