As the border crisis continues to grow, politicians take stronger stances on how to best protect Americans. Greg Murphy Tweeted, "Across the country, folks in liberal cities are waking up to the mess at our southern border in a way we haven’t seen before. Every week, another Democrat tosses Biden under the bus. Americans want safe communities." The crisis on the border has sent politicians to opposite points of view.

The border crisis has been an issue for years. A Fox News article featured Thom Tillis, North Carolina senate, in their coverage of it. Ted Cruz stated in the article that democrats have been trying to cover up the crisis. He says that it all is a complete lie. Other members of the GOP including Tillis have been advocating to help the children of this crisis. The Secure the Border Act was passed in May, but very little has been done.

The New York Times released information about Texas Gov. Greg Abbot, and what he had to say. In their point of view, some Democrats have joined the Republican party in blaming it on Biden's administration. Agreeing with what Greg Murphy based on his tweet. The border crisis has been dividing the Democratic party up more than ever this year and with an election coming up a lot is at stake. They also cover in the article that the crisis is in every state, not just one with a border.

The New York Post published their article and used the fact Biden is doing "everything he can." The U.S. Press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre stated in the article that Biden's administration is doing fine without the help from the Republicans. She states that all the Republicans have done so far is just get people fired and they want to do whatever the president isn't doing.
